Wardrobe asked me to stress that you please bring 2-3 options for them to look at. It needs to be upscale business, very dressy. The wardrobe dept has absolutely no clothes to give to the background. If you think you don't have the right clothes, give me a call. Sorry to be a pain....
Colors should be neutral and muted. Stay with grays, blues, browns, tans, stuff like that. Think CIA---conservative....a little boring.. : )
Suits, nice sport coats, slacks, an assortment of shirts and ties, shoes that are in good condition, for the men.
An assortment of ties and appropriate business shoes that are clean and in good condition for the men as well.
The women should bring skirt or pant suits, business separates, nothing casual.
Dresses that are more conservative with a blazer or cardigan, skirts with blouses and cardigans or blazers etc.
Pumps, or medium heels that are clean and in good condition.
Simple jewelry and silky scarves are good too to add color and options.
For men and women, their clothes should be clean and neatly pressed, hung, not rumpled into a suit case.
Choices are always good.
Please try to avoid all black or white, but a white dress shirt with a suit and tie is fine.
If they come dressed and then we can look at their other options would be great.
Nothing too flashy or busy.....darker tones and light is fine......navy, deep blues, plums, camel, grey, taupes, charcoal, cream, burgundy,
browns, tans, khakis, olives, etc are all good and a nice option from black and white and red.
A bit of pattern is fine, but not on the whole suit. A patterned blouse for the ladies under a blazer or cardigan is fine.
