CLOTHING FOR PEOPLE IN THE COMPOUND:
Please bring dark or light bottoms, ie. black, navy or slate blue, brown, tan, khaki, olive, light blue, cream, ivory.
No logos.
A school uniform pant would be fine, as well as a top, but I will want to mix them up, so that it doesn't look like a US uniform.
For tops, they can bring button down shirts, tunics if they have them, long sleeve t's or sweat tops, no hoodies or logos or bright colors.
The color family should be in the same vein as the bottoms.
It is ok to mix the colors between the top and bottom, they do not need to match.
Cardigan sweaters for boys and girls.....the girls can have long dresses in darker, more subdued colors.
Leggings with a tunic in deeper tones or desert colors could work for the girls.
The women and girls should have headscarves, the men and boys, if they have the Kufi cap, would be great, will consider other headwear.
Sandals are fine.....but may be too cold.....no boots, or anything really heavy looking.....just a plain oxford, slip on, loafer type is best.
Shoes should be shoes.....no tennis/atheletic shoes, and NO WHITE.
They should all bring jackets and things to keep warm.
